The planning application for the solar farm at Minchens Lane and up towards Ash Lane in Silchester will be considered the Borough Council Development Control Committee on Wednesday 20th April. The meeting will be held at 6.30pm in the Council Chamber at the Deanes Building at Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council (BDBC) offices. The Planning Officer has recommend the application for approval.
Members of Bramley Parish Council will be speaking at the meeting, asking for members to reject the proposals. We are aware that Silchester Parish Council will also be speaking, as will BDBC Ward Councillor Simon Mahaffey, and representatives from the Solar Farm Residents Group. Bramley Parish Council would encourage residents to attend the meeting if possible.
