Plans for improving safety at the Campbell Road roundabout have been distributed. These plans include:
Concern was expressed about how vehicles might get in and out of the Army Camp with the larger island. Many Cars entering the roundabout from Campbell Road seem to feel that they have a right of way and pull out onto the roundabout without respecting vehicles on or very near the roundabout coming from Sherfield. This is the main causes of issues and near misses. The lowered bund was noted with approval. Councillor asked why the proposed single track farm exit has not been included, as on the original plans? Clerk to feed comments back to Highways. |
