Bramley Parish Council invite residents to a beacon lighting ceremony on Thursday 2nd June to celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee. The event will be held on Clift Meadow, and is free for all residents to attend. A free hog roast is being supplied, as is a free glass of prosecco to raise a toast to the Queen. Festivities begin at 8.00pm, with a town crier at 8.45pm, a piper playing ‘Diu Regnare’ at 9.05pm, a bugler playing ‘Majesty’ at 9.10pm, and the beacon being lit at 9.15pm.
