Hampshire Emergency Planning

Traffic accidents, fires, medical emergencies and other serious incidents at sea happen somewhere in the county almost every minute of every day and police, fire, ambulance and coastguard emergency services deal with them quickly and efficiently. However, when a more disastrous event takes place that is beyond the capacity of the emergency services to deal with unaided, local authorities at county and district level put special plans into action which are designed to support the emergency services.
