Work at Bramley Level Crossing 6-9 October 2022

Bramley Parish Council has received notice of two separate works to take place at or near Bramley level crossing for two nights from 6th October.  The details are as follows:

  • 10pm 6th October – 4am 7th October – Hampshire Highways will be carrying out minor carriageway surfacing repair works, and additional road marking and minor signing improvements around the new pedestrian crossing will also be completed.  The road will remain open to traffic during this period, with site operatives controlling traffic using Stop-Go traffic management.  If you have any queries, please let the Parish Council know via the contact form on this website, and we contact the Highways project manager on your behalf.
  • 11.30pm 8th October – 4am 9th October – Network Rail will be carrying out work at the level crossing, and the crossing will be closed for the duration overnight.  The alternative route will be via Sherfield Road, A33, Ringway North, A340, Bramley Road, Boars Bridge or this route reversed.  More details can be found on the Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council website.
